#006 - Cold Wars, Warm Hearts, and Hot Young Empaths

…in which our fearless podcaster's head is about to explode. It's been a rough couple of weeks, but he was able to navigate thru the turbulence and deliver a double-header review of "Cold War" and "Hide". Topics include suspect or nonexistent accents and mispronunciations of fictional planets, the quest for the perfect Doctor Who episode, more Clara speculation, happiness as a clumsy metaphor for procreation, and mysterious laughter.

  1. My thoughts...

Cold War -- Brilliant episode overall, but thought the ending was a bit anticlimactic -- his ride finally showed up. Wondering if the Barbie Doll will eventually tie to Rose somehow. (Geez, I can't stand Rose...)

Hide -- This was gloriously creepy. This mysterious thing running around the house, the Doctor's "sliver of ice in his heart" (well, which one?) and the following lecture by Clara.

I hope we don't get let down, because Clara is completely intriguing

  2. I just had the thought that 33 years ago that Barbie Doll would've been used as a victim of the Master's Tissue Compressor Eliminator. Maybe Rose had a run in with the Master.
